Dr. Arnold Lamm
Arnold Lamm was the project leader for eDrives 2025 based on C-segment cars in the pre-development until 2019. Beginning of June 2019 Arnold Lamm left Daimler AG in order to found a consulting company for electromobility: e-Technologies GmbH.
Mechanical/chemical engineering at RWTH-Aachen. After finishing his PhD at Research Centre Jülich GmbH, Arnold Lamm entered in 1995 Daimler-Benz Research.
In the time from 1997 until 2005 he has different leading positions at Daimler-Benz AG, DaimlerChrysler AG und Daimler AG in the fields of Fuel Cell development and alternative powertrain development.
From 2006 up 2016 he was responsible within the Mercedes development for the HV storage research and development with the focus of Li-Ion technology. These activities covered batteries for different applications: 48V, high power batteries for hybrids and fuel cell cars, plug-in batteries and batteries for EV-applications. From May 2016 – May 2019 he was the project leader for eDrives 2025 based on C-segment cars in the pre-development.
Beginning of June 2019 Arnold Lamm left Daimler AG in order to found a consulting company for electromobility: e-Technologies GmbH.
