Call for Papers for the Conference "Advanced Battery Power" Open

Deadline is 31 October 2021

At the international conference “Advanced Battery Power”, science and industry discuss the latest findings along the entire supply chain of batteries. The established symposium will take place on 29 and 30 March 2022 at the Messe und Congress Centrum “Halle Münsterland” in Münster. Organised by “Haus der Technik” in Essen, the event provides young scientists an excellent platform for presenting research work and results in the field of battery technology to a broad professional audience. The call for papers for poster contributions and lectures is open until 31 October 2021. The best poster contributions as well as outstanding lectures will be awarded.

“We focus on the decisive factors that determine the marketability of a battery: high performance and energy density, a long service life, safety and low costs. In recent years, sustainability has been added as another parameter,” says Chairman Prof. Dr Martin Winter, Scientific Director of MEET Battery Research Center at the University of Münster and of Helmholtz Institute Münster of Forschungszentrum Jülich. Co-Chairman Prof. Dr Dirk Uwe Sauer, Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) at RWTH Aachen University, adds: “We offer young scientists an established platform for presenting themselves and their results. With success: At last year’s online version of the conference, we had more than 170 poster contributions and numerous top-class lectures.”

Topics of the call for papers are:

  • Material Level
  • Cell Level
  • Pack Level
  • Applications
  • Battery Life Cycle

Further information on the call for papers and the possibility to submit a poster contribution or a lecture can be found here:

In addition to the poster exhibition and the extensive lecture programme, an exhibition with representatives from academia and industry is part of the conference. The event is held in English language. Interested parties from the fields of research, development and application of batteries are invited.

Preliminary seminars on current industry topics from the field of battery technology on 28 March 2022 complete the programme.
