Dr.-Ing. Alexander Gitis
Dr.-Ing. Alexander Gitis received a PhD from RWTH Aachen University in the field of lithium-ion batteries. Subsequently, he worked as a post-doc and area coordinator at a DFG research group.
During his career he managed numerous academic and industrial development projects. In early 2019, he co-founded SAFION, which he has led as CEO since incorporation.
Dr. Gitis has been working in the battery technology for more than 10 years and is an experienced speaker as well as an expert for diagnosis and quality assurance of lithium-ion batteries.
